Damascus steel, 22k gold, 18k yellow gold,10k red gold, Walrus ivory, leather.
The inspiration
for this piece was the classic knives created in San Francisco during the
Gold Rush era by Michael Price. The scabbards leather face, a profusion of
silhouetted aquatic plants, was inspired by the glass work of Louis C.Tiffany.
Ron Skaggs engraved the damascus piece in the knife's grip and scabbard tipe.
