41" in height, Scythe blade length: 24" overall (1997)
Damascus steel. silver, bronze, Madagascar ebony, fossil sea cow bone, leather.
The wing
is carved in high relief. The ebony shaft is arched like a true scythe and
has a tang running from blade to butt. The bronze mounted grips pivot to allow
for a controlled swing. The blade and shaft lengths were chosen because this
must be usable as a real weapon. The butt blade is lethal close in.
